Call for Papers: BOGA Basque Studies Consortium Journal

Boise State's Basque Studies Program is introducing the BOGA Basque Studies Consortium Journal with a call for papers. This journal, which was formerly the Journal of Basque Studies in America by the Society for Basque Studies in America, was transferred to Boise State in 2011. In order to continue this tradition Boise State has taken it over as part of its Basque Studies Program. Even though Boise State’s name is at the forefront, they stress that this is a collaborative endeavor and thus the word “consortium” appearing in the title. Center for Basque Studies Literary Contest

The Center for Basque Studies is sponsoring a literary contest open to all non-academic submissions, as long as it has something to do with a Basque topic. Contest winners will be awarded $500 and publication of the work for first place; second place will receive a $150 Center for Basque Studies Press gift certificate and publication consideration of the work; and third place will receive a Basque Literature and Classics gift pack and publication consideration.
