Basque Club of Utah Event

UtahThis weekend the Basque Club of Utah will be hosting its 33rd Annual Dinner-Dance this Saturday, January 31st at St. Ambrose Catholic Church Hall. The event will begin at 5:30pm and will include dinner (Adult $22/Children 12 and under $12.00) followed by dancing to the music of Jean Flesher. Seating is limited so reservations are encouraged. This year's event also coincides with NABO's winter meeting that will take place at St. Ambrose Church Hall as well on Saturday morning. The meeting will gather delegates from the 40 plus Basque clubs and entities that comprise NABO and will also be attended by Asier Vallejo, Director of the Basque Government's department of the Basque Community Abroad, along with Benan Oregi and Jon Garcia who is interning in that department.

The Oñati International Institute for Sociology of Law

onatiFor anyone interested in pursuing an International Masters in Sociology of Law, here is your opportunity. The Oñati International Institute for the Sociology of Law (IISL) provides a year-long program (60ECTS) entirely in English, accredited by the University of the Basque Country. The program includes thirteen two-week courses from September-March (40ECTS) and a Master Thesis (Research Project) from April-September (20ECTS). Eligible students must have a bachelor degree in law, sociology or other social sciences and course are taught by leading international experts who travel specifically to Oñati for this program.
