Petition for More Basque-Language Content on Netflix
The Netflix euskaraz/Netflix in Basque campaign needs your help. If you would like to see more audiovisual content in the Basque language on Netflix, as well as remind the company to keep the social linguistic reality of its Basque clients in mind, then please sign the petition. The goal is to reach 10,000 signatures by April 15th, primarily from Basques in the Basque Country, but also from those in the Diaspora where a growing number of viewers demand films in their original Basque versions, or with subtitles in Spanish, French, or English, or in Basque for other films in the Basque Country. Some of the titles currently available in Basque include Handia, by Aitor Arregi and Jon Garaño, Errementari by Paul Urkijo Alijo, Akelarre, by Pablo Aguero (recently made available in Hegoalde and Latin America), or for example recently added, Black is Beltza, by Fermin Muguruza. If you would like to sign the petition, click here.
