BEO Mus Tournament
Please join our friends at the BEO (Basque Educational Organization) for its annual NABO Mus Tournament on Sunday, March 26th in the Kantxa at the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center (BCC). Check-in will begin at 7:30am and you don’t have to be a member to participate. Cost to participate is $35.00, but does not include lunch. Mendiko Euskaldun Cluba Mus Tournament
Please join the Mendiko Euskaldun Cluba for its annual NABO Mus Tournament this Saturday, March 18th at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden, NV. Check-in will begin at 7:30am at the doors to the Valley Ballroom. You must be a member to participate, and cost of the tournament is $35 per player, which includes lunch. Deadline to register is today, Thursday, March 16th by 5pm PST, with no registrations accepted on Saturday morning. You can register by emailing mendikoclub@outlook.com. Bertsolaritza in San Francisco
Last Sunday, March 12th a NABO Bertsolari Event took place at the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center during its weekly Members Lunch. The event featured Bertsolari Xabier Euzkitze from the Basque Country performing alongside local Bertsolaris, Johnny Curutchet, Todor Azurtza and Martin Goicoechea. Accordionist Iñaki Reta also accompanied the four. The event was very well attended, and everyone present seemed to enjoy themselves. Ads for NABO Convention Program
As you may already know, the Los Banos Basque Club is hosting this year’s NABO Convention and 50th Anniversary Festivities May 18-21, 2023. As such, they are inviting everyone to participate by placing an ad with them. Ads can be for businesses, clubs, or entities, Basque or non-Basque, families, memorials, best wishes etc. Deadline to submit an ad is April 15, 2023.
