NABO Mus Finals

2023 Mus Champions

As we reported last week, the NABO National Mus Tournament was held last Saturday, June 17th in Gardnerville hosted by the Mendiko Euskaldun Cluba at the Carson Valley Inn.  Forty-one teams participated, and after a long 12-hour day, Aitor Berrueta and Phil Elicagaray came out on top, with second place going to Chris Bonson and Maurice Negueloua.  Aitor and Phil will now represent NABO at International Mus Tournament in Chile in October.  Also, since Aitor and Phil qualified representing the Mendiko Euskaldun Cluba, next year’s National Mus Tournament will again take place in Gardnerville, on the Saturday before Father’s Day, June 15, 2024. Congratulations to everyone who participated and again a special thank you to our Mus Chair, Pierre Etcharren, the Mus Committee and of course a special Mila Esker to the Mendiko Euskaldun Cluba!
