Aita Antton Egiguren Receives US Citizenship
On behalf of everyone at NABO, we would like to congratulate Aita Antton on becoming a US Citizen on July 28th. We are so fortunate to have a dedicated Basque chaplain, and truly appreciate all of his efforts to serve our Basque community. Zorionak Aita! Izugarri estimatzen zaitugu!
Euskal Lagunak 62nd Annual Picnic
Please join the Euskal Lagunak in Mountain Home, for their 62nd Annual Picnic this Saturday, August 5th beginning at 4pm. The dinner menu includes lamb, rice, beans, and chorizos. Games for all ages will begin at 5:30pm, followed by a performance by the Oinkari Basque Dancers at 7:30pm. There will also be a live lamb auction. Gooding Basque Association Dinner and Upcoming Events
The Gooding Basque Association will host its last First Friday Dinner of the summer, this Friday, August 4th from 6pm-8pm. This will be the last one until November, so don’t miss out. The menu includes lamb chops, lamb shanks, ham, Basque rice, soup, salad, Basque bread and dessert. Cost of the dinner is $20 for seniors (62+), $22 for adults, and $10 for children 12 and under. Seattle Euskal Etxea Picnic
The Seattle Euskal Etxea will host its annual picnic this Sunday, August 6th at Lake Sammamish State Park's Rotunda. Mass will begin at noon celebrated by Aita Antton and livestreamed on the Artzai Ona Facebook page.
