Mother's Day Lunch at Basque Cultural Center
Want to treat your mom on Mother’s Day? Why not lunch at the Basque Cultural Center? The luncheon is at 12:30pm and all mothers present will be given a complimentary raffle ticket for a special drawing. Basque Museum and Cultural Center Mus Tournament
The Basque Museum and Cultural Center will host its annual NABO Qualifying Mus Tournament this Saturday, May 4th. Registration will begin at 8:30am with a light breakfast with play to start around 9am. The cost to play is $40 for members, which includes breakfast and lunch, and membership can be purchased at registration. The winning team will represent the Basque Museum and Cultural Center at the NABO tournament in Gardnerville, NV on June 15th.
Elko Euzkaldunak Lunch
The Elko Euzkaldunak Basque Club will host a Basque lunch this Sunday May 5th at noon at the clubhouse. Cost of the meal is $20 per person and there are 10 different types of food available, along with a cash bar. The event is open to the public. For more information, visit them on Facebook.

Gooding First Friday Basque Dinner
The Gooding Basque Association will hold its First Friday dinner on May 3rd from 6pm-8pm. The menu includes lamb chops, lamb ribs, solomo with pimentos, Basque rice, soup, salad, Basque bread and lots of yummy desserts. Fresno Basque Picnic
The Fresno Basque Club will kick off the 2024 Basque picnic season with its annual picnic this Saturday, May 4th at the Campos Bros Farms. The day will begin with mass at 10am followed by a Lamb BBQ from 12:30-2:00pm. After lunch, the local club dancers will perform and there will be pilota with local pilotaris competing. In the afternoon, Chorizo Sandwiches will be available for purchase, and the day will conclude with a public dance to the music of Amerikanuak.
