“Kaixo! Have you always wanted to learn Euskara but don’t know where to start? Why not register for one of N.A.B.O.’s online Euskara courses this year and start your language learning journey! The N.A.B.O. Euskara Program is offering a variety of online courses for Fall 2024, and registration has just begun! Classes meet once a week for two hours on Zoom for a total of 12 classes, from September through December. The course price is $125 for N.A.B.O. club members, or $175 for non-members. We use the Etxepare Basque Institute’s Euskara Munduan curriculum, designed to effectively teach and immerse you in the Basque language, alongside other complimentary materials. In addition to online classes, be sure to check out our clubs’ in-person offerings. Boise, Gardnerville, Homedale, and Reno are all organizing classes for the fall. The Basque Museum & Cultural Center is also offering its series Euskal Herria Ezagutzen (Getting to know the Basque Country) online as well. Registration closes August 30. Check out our website for more details. Please contact Edurne, N.A.B.O. Euskara Coordinator, at euskara@naboeuskara.org with any questions. Take your first step toward learning Euskara today!” |
