Ateak Ireki Application Now Open
November 1st marked the opening for the application period for the 2025 Ateak Ireki Program. This program, aimed at youth between the ages of 16 and 25, provides participants the opportunity to learn more about the Basque culture and the Basque Country, all while living with local families. They are also provided the opportunity to study the Basque language in a three-week immersion program at Maizpide Barnetegi. Thanks to the hard work of program organizers, the program is completely sponsored, so the only cost for participants is round-trip airfare, travel insurance and spending money. The 2025 program will take place from June 28-July 20, 2025. If you feel like this is something you would like to experience, don’t hesitate and apply today.
BEO Extends Deadline for Inclusion in Book

The first edition honored over 100 women from all over the United States with “beautiful, heartfelt stories.” Your submission should include a picture, story and/or message about your loved ones. The good news is that the book will be ready by Christmas and would make a great gift, so to learn more or to make a submission, please click here. Remember NOVEMBER 15TH is your last chance to be included. To see a sample of the publication, click here.
