Odolki Jana in Utah

If you are a member of the Basque Club of Utah, don’t miss out on its annual Odolki Jana (Blood Sausage Dinner), this Saturday, March 7th. The festivities will begin at 6:30pm at the St. Vincent’s Benvegnu Center, and the menu consists of soup, blood sausage or pork roast, mashed potatoes, salad bread, cheese and dessert all for $15. There will also be a self-serve bar and bulk sausages will also be on sale for $8 a bag. Come earlier in the day for a Mini Mus Tournament starting at 9:30am. Gooding Dinner

Please join the Gooding Basque Association this Friday, for its First Friday Dinner. The event begins at 6pm and the menu includes features Lamb Chops, Lamb Ribs, Solomo, Basque Rice, Soup, Salad w/Basque dressing, Basque Bread, and dessert. Los Banos Mus Tournament

The Los Banos Basque Club will host its annual NABO Qualifying Mus Tournament this Saturday, March 7th beginning at 7am at the Sportsmen’s Club. Registration begins at 7am with play beginning at 8:30am. You must be a club member to participate, and cost of the tournament is $20 per person plus $20 for lunch. Mountain Home Mus Tournamnt

Mus The Mountain Home Euskal Lagunak Basque Club will also host its NABO Qualifying Mus Tournament this weekend also on Saturday, March 7th. Bertsolari Saioa This Sunday in San Francisco

Don’t forget that the San Francsico Basque Club in collaboration with NABO will host a Bertsolari Saioa, this Sunday March 8th beginning at 12:30pm. This event is bringing together bertsolaris from the US and the Basque Country and will also provide simultaneous translation provided by Xabi Paya. Longtime supporters of Bertsolaritza in the US, Jeanette and Mike Bidart will be honored at the event receiving NABO’s Al Erquiaga Bizi Emankorra award for their contributions over the years, not only hosting, but also transporting bertsolaris from A to B, as well as their financial contributions for various Bertsolari events over the years. Seattle Euskal Etxea Spring Dinner and Mus

Please join the Seattle Euskal Etxea on March 21st for its annual Spring Dinner and NABO Qualifying Mus Tournament at the Wallingford Community Senior Center. The Mus Tournament will begin at 9am and you can register here. Doors for the dinner will open at 3pm with dinner to follow at 5pm. The menu includes Cream of Zucchini Soup, Cod-stuffed Piquillo Peppers, Salad, Roasted Tri-tip and Potatoes, Cheese, and your choice of Basque Burnt Cheesecake or Gateau Basque.
